I love photographing this family so much! I feel so honored that another photographer chose me to capture their growing family, and they are so darn adorable that their photos always make me smile. Their little one Elias just turned 6 months old, so they got together for some updated family photos. He is more mobile and SO expressive!

I had an amazing time meeting and photographing Patience. She lives up in Pine Mountain Club, and I was so excited to drive up there for her session! I love getting the opportunity to photograph outside Bakersfield every once in a while, and photos like these are exactly why.

Patience is such a sweet girl, and was awesome during our session. I asked if she was willing to go down a couple hiking trails to get some shots in the forest-y areas, and she said that was totally fine, since she still goes on hikes! In the mountains. In her third trimester. She is like a gorgeous pregnant Superwoman.

Congratulations Patience, I cannot wait for the arrival of your baby girl in a few weeks!

Second shooting again for Lindsey of Left Coast Design Studio. We got to travel to Cayucos for this gorgeous beach wedding with an outstanding couple. Briana and Tom are so fun and just plain adorable together.

I had a great time photographing the sweet Murphy Family. They are such a fun family with a whole lot of love for each other.

I loved being able to second shoot for Makenzie Photography. She is an amazing photographer to work with, and Michelle and Chris were an amazing couple to photograph! They are so fun and sweet, I had a great time during their entire wedding day.

I started out photographing Chris and all his groomsmen while Makenzie was with the girls, then we met up at the Kern County Museum for their First Look and all the photos before the ceremony. It was a beautiful warm day, perfect for a sunset ceremony.

I had the pleasure of being the second shooter for Melisa Gilden Photography as she photographed her brother Shannon’s wedding to the stunning Desiree. Melisa is another amazing local photographer, and was so fun to shoot with!

Shannon and Desiree are an adorable couple, and such a joy to meet. I LOVED all the details in their wedding, especially the dress, flowers, and their rings! I don’t usually post too many ring photos from a wedding, but hers was so gorgeous it needed some extra blog love.

This wedding is very near and dear to my heart. Jeremy is a close friend David and I, and was the pastor who married us 3 years ago. It was such a joy finally seeing him happily married to one of the most amazing women I have had the pleasure of meeting. Sarah is such a sweetheart, and absolutely gorgeous.

Sarah and Jeremy both got ready at his parents’ home, and did their First Look there, which was sweet as can be! Then we did bridal party photos downtown, and finally had the ceremony and reception in Jeremy and Sarah’s backyard. They recently had it all landscaped beautifully, and Jeremy built the pergola the ceremony was held in front of. It was a very intimate and family oriented wedding, and fit them perfectly.

Congratulations Sarah and Jeremy! I love you both to pieces!

Second shooting again for the amazing Lindsey of Left Coast Design Studio.

The lovely Miss Laurel is graduating this year, and I got to tag along with Lindsey of Left Coast Design Studio for her senior portraits. Here are some of my photos of Laurel, and some behind the scenes shots of Lindsey in action.

I was so excited when Hannah told me they were having a gender reveal party, and that they wouldn’t even know until then! If you recognize these super attractive parents to be, that’s because I  photographed them in November (you can see that post here). They were pregnant at the time, and just didn’t know it yet! I guess that means they were my earliest ever maternity session.

They are a very well loved family, and everyone was super excited to find out what they were having.
